question about day pass in Munich

Hello All,

My family (4 people) will travel Munich and will land in Munich Airport and will be travel the train to the City..

I want to buy a Day Ticket, and find this type of pass :

"Partner Day Ticket entire network (Partner Tageskarte Gesamtnetz) 20,00 € "

Can you tell me whether it is suitable for us or not?

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, that's the one you want to get.
It's good for up to 5 people.
You have probably already found out that you can use that ticket until 6am next day on any of Munich's city buses, subways and trams as well.

At the airport's ticket machine you will find more prominentely displayed the "Airport-City-Day ticket", also for €20 in its "partner" version.
It has identical conditions as the Day ticket you found.

The only difference is that the Airport-City Day ticket is already validated or "stamped".
As many tourists arriving at the airport did not know or forgot to stamp their tickets and were thus technically subject to a penalty fare the transit authority introduced this type of ticket.
