Question about Alilaguna
Good afternoon,
I read in a book somewhere that there is a limit on how much luggage one can bring on Alilaguna from the airport to San Marco. I"ll have 3 bags (yes, I know, but it's true). Please someone tell me that they'll let me on board! Happy weekend, Susan |
I'm afraid I can't say for sure, but we used Alilaguna in the other direction after a ski trip that concluded with a stop in Venice. Because we had all our ski gear, I was traveling with two huge - as in just barely airline legal - duffel bags and nobody seemed to care.

Took the Alliguna a few months ago. Nobody counted bags which were just piled at the front of the boat as fast as possible. There may be a rule about the number of bags but this is Italy.
|
The men just pile the bags onto the boat. No one will even look to see if you are traveling with 2 other people or if all 3 bags are for you alone. There's no luggage check. At the end of the ride your bags are off loaded and you pick them up and leave.

Have you figured out how you're going to trek from the Alliguna stop to your hotel carrying/dragging 3 bags?
How many blocks is it? And over how many bridges? |
Ha! Nytraveler's questions are more relevant!
