Queeniborough Leicestershire

I am trying to find out some info on this town to visit but am coming up with nothing on my web searches. Has anyone heard of this town and perhaps what larger city is located next to. We would like to visit for a day trip from London.

Try spelling it Queniborough and you will find it a couple of miles north of Leicester, the county town of Leicestershire.

Try this link:-

http://www.aboutbritain.com/towns/Queniborough.asp

pretty basic info but this one -

http://www.leicestershirevillages.co...p?subareaid=17

at least has a photo of the main street.

Other than what you can google here's some additional info:-

you're just north of Leicester as Ron states which also means you're 15 miles south of Nottingham. There was a very full discussion of all things East Midlands on this forum recently which I'll top for you and you might like to read.

Sherriow, I've just topped it and it's called " What's near this location in Rutland, England?" ... it contains loads of info on Rutland/Leicestershire/Lincolnshire/Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire.

You can always searcg on my name to find it... just click on my name at the top of this response.
