Quad rooms in luxury hotel in rome

Are there any 4.5 to 5 star hotels in rome that have quad rooms ? ( two adults , two teens )

Yes, I'm sure most of them will - but do expect the price to be VERY high. Probably more than getting 2 separate rooms - so at least you have 2 baths - in a 4* or pleasant 3 star hotel.

Just go to one of the hotel search engines and put in Rome, 5* and 4 people. BUT, there are some 4/5* hotels that are outside the city. You do NOT want to stay there - since you will end up having to take taxis all over the place and lose the feeling of actually being in Rome.

Sorry - these rooms will typically have 2 double beds - can the teens share one double bed?

Are you aware that stars do not have the same meaning in Italy as they do in the states? In the states, they are used to denote quality. In most of Europe, they are used to denote amenities such as garage, pool, elevator, restaurant. You could have a very luxurious small hotel without a pool, restaurant or garage with only two stars where a big shabby place could have four because it has those things. I have found better places based on recs from other Fodorites than from looking at star ratings.

Look for a hotel with connecting rooms, much better. You'll have two bathrooms.
Have a look at the family (connecting) rooms at the Inn at the Spanish Steps.

About 2 minutes on Kayak showed a list of 35 5* hotels (I didn't bother with 4*) in Rome that had rooms for 4 people for random dates in august (you didn't say when you are traveling).

For instance the Bernini Bristol has rooms with one double bed plus 2 twins for about $800 per night. I didn;t look at all but I'm sure many are pleasant and have decent locations.

BUT, I would still go for 2 rooms in a slightly less upscale hotel - which you could easily get for $800 a night.
