Pyrenees in early March- Help!
Hi,
My husband and I are flying into Barcelona in early March and want to head to the Pyrenees as we much prefer mountains/countryside/small towns. I have searched the Internet and still can't decide which town should be our home base? I am considering Jaca or Torla. I worry about being too far North with it still being winter season, and don't want to get stuck in the snow. We will be traveling via car and also plan to visit San Sebastian & Rioja, so staying somewhere in the Pyrenees b/t that area and Barcelona would be ideal.
Any advice is much appreciated!

Snow in the Pyrenees in March
The Tena Valley is always nice, but there will be snow in early March. Jaca is in the foothills, our friends stay there to go skiing. There may not be any snow in Jaca, but it will be cool. Torla-Ordesa is the same, but Pamplona would be a better stop, and generally no snow in March (fingers crossed).
