The first one says "children not allowed" er, does your family include children?

justineparis Jan 29th, 2013 06:20 AM

well they are both nice, but I like the second one better, the terrrase on the first one is very nice, but I find some of the rooms look a bit drabby dark...

justinparis! I didn't even see that about the kids. But, in my initial correspondence with the owner, I did tell her I had four boys and gave her their ages. So, apparently she doesn't mind?

I like the Via Giulia location. The other apartment just gives a big area, not really the street. I would be wary about the actual location.

Kybourbon - the owner did email me address: Via Domenico Alberto Azuni 9

Here is another option that I thought wasn't an option. I have told the owner we cannot afford it without a deep discount - she is interested in negotiating with me. Thus... I am even MORE confused!

The house even has it's own website - http://www.domuscolosseo.com/

I am a sucker for a terrace, so I would go for either Option 1 or Option 3. Be aware of the extra electricity charge.

Terraces seem popular! But to all I would ask whether we would likely use a terrace during our trip which is from Feb. 22 - Mar. 4. Thoughts?

nytraveler Jan 29th, 2013 06:44 PM

That time of year unlikely to use the terrace. And how old are the kids - can they be left along on a terrace?

I would confirm with the first that 4 kids are allowed - they may have antiques that are not up to little kids. (A friend of mine has not been able to trade her apartment for this reason - won;t allow kids under 12).

The second one is confusing - don;t understand how both the Tiber and the Borghese can be right outside the door. I would get an exact location on a map - since they are obviusly doing some exaggeration.

Just noticed something on option 2, if you click on amenties it says smoking allowed, so you may not like the smell of the place!

The last one you posted didn't include enough pictures of the interior for me, lots of pictures of the views though,, are they resting on that ? I do like that it has double sinks in one of the bathrooms though.

I LOVE the look of the option 2 and 3.

Can't wait to see where you decide!
