Hello,

my wife would like to carry a purse on our trip to Paris....any ideas on which type to carry for security would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Something that can be worn close to the body. And keep it that way. Don't dangle it over the back of your chair in a restaurant, set it on the floor in the train station, etc. It's not the type of purse that matters as much as what you do with it!

I would add that make sure the purse zippers shut. A lot of them just snap shut, which means it is easy for someone to just reach in at the end of the purse (which tends to gap open) and grab whatever they can.
