I live in New York City. A friend in a small town in Tuscany has asked me to bring her Omega 3 capsules, however I travel with a carry-on only and these capsules are liquid (oil) and may not be brought onboard a flight. In Florence or Rome are they easily available in health food stores or pharmacies, so I can pick up a supply there to bring with me?

I haven't checked directly, but I am sure most pharmacies in Italy will have them, although they will always be more expensive then in USA because of the monopoly enjoyed by the Italian Farmacie. I buy all of my supplements on-line from USA and have someone mail them to me.
