Purchasing flights while in Italy
I have checked fares on Alitalia for travel within Italy. I'm wondering if anyone has waited to purchase these flights after arriving abroad and received better fares than the website had offered.

Hi Tammy! Have you checked into europebyair.com?
|
I can't speak to Alitalia, but I do know that purchasing fares from within Europe can sometimes save you money. Just booked a flight from Marseille to Marrakech through AMEX in France on Royal Air France for $290 RT - cheapest I could find in the States, with my favorite consolidator helping me, on the same flight, was $363.00. If your Italian's up to it, call an Alitalia office in Italy, or an Italian travel agent.

Thank you StCirq and hello again Mariarosa. I just looked at europebyair.com. Their $99 travel pass is a better rate then what I've found so far. I have not heard of either airline.(Air One and Alpi Eagles S.P.A.) Does anyone have any info on these airlines?

Hi Tammy! I am wondering the same thing. Air One flies directly from Milan and/or Turin to Naples and Catania, the 2 destinations I'm considering for February, but I have never heard of them! When are you going?
|
Hi Mariarosa, I'm going to Italy next May. I'm going to post a question about these airlines.
