puppets and marionettes

I'm told Prague has wonderful puppetry as well as spots where you can see marionettes being made (and sold). Does anyone know about this industry/entertainment in Prague? Thanks.

soxgirl:
here is a website for "Puppets in Prague" which runs puppet/marionettes making workshops not far from the center of town, as well as the "Teatro Toc" performance workshop.

Hope this will be a start.

Oh What a shame, soxgirl.
Patrick has such wonderful stories of the puppet theatres in Prague, but he is unable to post at this time and cannot share them.
Hopefully, this is temporary and a longtime and very experienced traveler can post again on Fodors.

if you type <marionette> into the little search box just above this posting, you will find some previous threads on Prague and marionettes
