Puglia is Fabulous
 

Because of the TRs written by many of you, esp. ekscrunchy's first TR to the area, we planned a few weeks in Puglia. we loved it....had glorious weather, ate delcious food and drank good wines and saw beautiful and fascinating places. The people are welcoming and friendly and always helpful despite us not speaking Italian. We started with 4 days in Naples and fell in love with this chaotic, vibrant city. spent 3 days in Matera and it was a real wow and a fascinating town.
So thanks to all of you who shared your trips. I hope to get a full report done, but happy to answer any questions in the meantime.

Yestravel, I am looking forward to your report about a part of Italy to which I have never traveled but am interested in.

We also had a recent trip to Puglia, in large part due to EK too. We had a great time. Much to see and do. Good food. Friendly people. Excellent weather Prices lower than many other parts of Itally.

Where in Puglia did you stayed ? we are considering visiting Puglia, wishing to travel in areas a little off the usual touristic path. Thank you.
