Puerto Soller

I am considering a long weekend in Puerto Soller in the west of Mallorca, I have ordered a couple of books with walks, but in the interim does anyone have any interesting ideas that they would like to share.
Also how easy is it to get from the airport to the train to make the journey to Soller?

See this link to a trip report of mine plus some hiking suggestions:

I have never used the Soller train but I believe it leaves from the station in central Palma so you would need to get there first from the airport. It may be easier to just get a taxi direct to your hotel from the airport.

Thanks for your help. We are now booked in for Easter weekend. Really looking forward to doing some walking and relaxing.
Perhaps we'll use the train for a day trip to Palma instead.

We visited Puerto Soller when we were staying in Palma for a long weekend a few years ago and the train journey was one of the highlights of our stay.
