Pubs showing NFL football in London?
I will be passing through London on 11/26 en route to the US. I really want to spend the evening watching NFL Football, but in a nice pub, with decent food if possible. I have been to London a few times but never this time of the year.
If anyone has some recommendation I would be grateful. I know it is kind of a weird question. Have not booked a hotel yet but Park Plaza hotel group is having a sale, so may take advantage which may base me close to Waterloo or Victoria station, but this is not set in stone...

Most pubs will not be showing the NFL as it is not followed widely here.
You will likely need to find a sports bar or an American style bar/pub. Bodeans BBQ plays American sports so you could try there:

Here are a couple lists of possibilities someone has compiled

lol, jamikins, I'm restraining myself from saying 'thank goodness for that" but I realise that that's not at all fair; I know that americans feel just the same about cricket, but they certainly have more chance of seeing an NFL match on telly in the UK than I do of seeing cricket in the US.
Rialtogirl, if you are really desperate, the BBC has taken to broadcasting the NFL on radio on Sunday nights; you need to find Radio 5 live or 5 Extra. I will try to remember to look in next week's Radio Times to see if it's on on 26/11.

Actually Ann, cricket is regularly played in New York, though seldom (never?) televised.
Here's an article that gives an overview.

Sky Sports Channel 407 shows NFL football every Sunday, and due to the time difference in the UK, most games are shown in the evening to late night. They choose one game in each time slot, so it may not be the team you follow. If you can find a pub with Sky Sports you may be able to persuade the bartender to switch over to 407.
When the Jaguars played the Ravens at London's Wembley Stadium this year, attendance was over 84,000. Thousands more (including me) watched it on Sky Sports.

I knew about it being played in NYC, Fra - it's mainly played by those of caribbean and Indian subcontinent origin, I believe - which those two articles confirm - but I never knew about it being on US TV.
still if you haven't got TMS [test match special] to listen to on the radio, it's not really cricket:

Thank you everyone for the tips and feedback! I found a pub in Fulham that shows games... rather than a sports bar. They kindly responded to an email that they do not know the schedule for the 26th but they will definitely be screening some NFL.
I am optimistic! Will look for lodgings at Earls Court or Gloucester road so I am fairly close.
Heimdall I am not so picky about the teams, I will just be happy for a "taste of home" as I have been on the road a long time. I am in Paris now so hope to catch the Rams/Vikings here at a pub close to the apartment I am staying in.
Thanks again!

Only another 5 days to go Margo - I can't imagine what us sports addicts are going to do in the meantime, can you?
Though perhaps we can find some Rugby to watch, I'm sure we'd both enjoy, say, England v Australia. Do you know of such a match, perchance?
