Does any know of a publicaton/magazine/newspaper in Amsterdam that gives the events/concerts/restaurant reviews/etc. that are taking place? Will I see it in hotels/restaurants/etc? Will be in Amsterdam Xmas and New Years. Thanks in advance.

Boom Chicago.

The same bunch that runs the improv theater in Leidseplein also has a free paper with events and reviews. Young adult oriented, for the most part.

"The Amsterdam Times"- a weekly English newspaper available for free at most hotels has a lot of what you seek.
