Morning we are travelling from London on 25/5/2014 realise this is a bank holiday, we need to get to Tunbridge wells on 26th have thought of staying at old oak B/B any reviews please

Plan is to book out of London Hotel go by train to outskirts Sutton Surrey, Sussex area stay overnight any suggestions accommodation , then make our way to Crowborough by public transport which would fall on Monday Bank Holiday.
If any one could advise a plan or best place to base ourselves would appreciate ,as we are from Aust not familiar with roads etc

I can't help but would suggest you repost with a more descriptive title as you are more likely to get responses

Trains to Tunbridge Wells leave from Charing Cross station and take just under an hour. Although the 25th May is a BH there will still be a reasonable service although the timetables haven't been released just yet.

I'm not sure where the Sutton detour fits in to this, but there is no direct route. The trip involves a couple of changes via South London.

If you're going to Sutton for Hampton Court, then just do it a day trip from London and go to TW on Monday.

This hasn't been a "horrible winter".

It's been very wet, but exceptionally warm (so by North America's normal unbearable standards, beltingly warm, and by North America's exceptionally grisly standards this winter, downright equatorial).

My garden is now a full month ahead of where it was last year.

In most of SE England, bluebells are beginning to go over by early May, so all else being equal they'll be gone at sea level by late April this year.

But who knows what the weather has in store? Flowering dates and blooms' survival depend on far more than just temperature, and if you need to know for planning - best ask in early April. Otherwise check once you're here because if bluebells have gone over in location A, there'll probably be something else coming out prematurely in location B a mile down the road.
