Pub near Trinity College
I'll be visiting Trinity College next Sunday around noon, and would like a recommendation for a pub in the vicinity.

You might try Davy Byrne's just a few blocks away.
http://www.davybyrnes.com Had lunch there twice and thought it was good. Would have visited anyway because of the Joycean connection -- Leopold Bloom has a gorgonzola sandwich and a glass of Burgundy there in Ulysses. |

Kennedys on Westland Row

Thanks!
I'll have a look at these. |
Stag's Head is also not that far away from Trinity College.
I liked the atmosphere there last week - on a regular weekday, though. http://publin.ie/2011/stags-head-2/ |
Very old school - Mulligans in Poolbeg St.
Enter in the door on the left. |
My favorite is O'Neills on Grafton Street. Always have great music. The place gets packed though.
