Provence-Websites for locating and booking luxury accomodations
 

Hi<BR><BR>Need to book for 7 nites in June for my husband and myself. Arriving in Avignon, but want to stay outside, as base--St. Remy or small town near it. My dilemma is being able to do this on line. Need help with websites or any other advice as time is getting short. We are retired and a bit spoiled and like luxury accomodations, but do not want to overpay when not necessary. Like small intimate, but first class settings.<BR><BR>Thanks

Besides Relais & Chateau, the other main hotel source is:<BR><BR>www.chateauxhotels.com<BR><BR>Consider the Chateau Montcaud in Bagnols sur Ceze, a short distance northwest of Avignon. This is a four-star hotel in every sense of the word.

I've used www.hotelapartments.com. Classy operation.

Thanks to all of you we have what I think will be a great place to stay in St. Remy--Domaine de Valmouriane. We will be there for seven nites and then will spend 3 nites in Paris. <BR><BR>I hope I will be able to help someone as you have helped me!!!
