Sorry meant Stu

That's a hell of a lot to cover in 8 days. Congratulations!
|
You must have spent a lot of time in the car but I’ll bet you got some gorgeous photos. I’ll be watching for them.
|
Nice photos! You sure covered a lot in your time away.
|
Boy, busy trip! Thanks for the photos.
Odd, though. I saw Mary Magdalene's tomb in Ephesus, Turkey. Did they break her up? |
StCirq
You have the wrong Mary buried in Ephesus http://www.ephesustravelguide.com/ho...rgin-mary.html |
Beautiful pictures. Are they tagged with their locations? Is there a way to sign on and see them more closely?
|
We're going to be doing something very similar next June, 12 days in Provence and a week in Bourgogne near Autun, we also plan on taking the TGV from and to CDG.
How long did it take you to get to the train station from the time you disembarked, am trying to figure out which train to book. Though of course there's still several months to go, haven't yet booked my air tickets, but I know our flight gets in around 7am. The pictures are lovely and so typical of provincial France, thanks:) |
Ooops! Too many Marys.
|
Thanks.
The train left CDG at 1:45PM and we arrived in Avignon TGV about 5:15pm. It was a very nice change from the airplane. We got first class tickets in huge seats. Also theres a "bar Car" to go and have drinks. For the images I think you can download them and view them in a big format. Theres a down arrow to do that. Some should be GeoTagged in their EXIF data. Standard photo programs should show the GPS info. |
Your photos are beautiful. Bookmarking for 2019.

Thanks morvegil, bookmarking this thread for next year:)
|
Really lovely photos! Did you find St. Remy a convenient place to base yourselves out of?
|
My goodness you saw so much. I had fun trying to match places with your wonderful pix--only one I got right immediately was van Gogh cafe!
|
Such great photos, thanks for sharing your trip. The colors are so vibrant and the lighting and framing just great.
