Provence to Amalfi Coast

What is the best way to travel from Provence to the Amalfi Coast?

PF - You are knew to this forum. You really need to be more specific, both in this post and your other one.

That is like saying I'm in Florida, what's the best way to get to Kansas?

It's actually not that easy, from my experience. A couple of years ago, we did the reverse trip: we flew from Naples to Marseille via Brussels Air. We took the Circumvesuviano train from Sorrento to Naples, and then went to the airport. It was the only way we could cheaply make the move in a short time frame. So you could explore air connections between Marseille and Naples.

Check low cost airlines like Ryan Air or Easy Jet, and choose their destinations that are the closest to your places of interest and then take train. That way you won't have extra long train journeys, as the two areas (in two different countries you mentioned are far away.

Ryanair goes to Bari for sure, I do not know if these airlines go to Salerno etc. and that they also do flights from Marseilles and Nice. Check them out.

It was also in the Italian news lately that a high-speed train has started to operate from Milan to south of Italy. You might want to check that out as well. Of course you would still have to fly or take train from Provence to Milan.
