Provence Specialist Travel Agent Recommendation

Can anyone recommend a travel agent they have used?

I'm looking for someone who specializes in or has extensive knowledge of Provence.

We are looking for someone to recommend and book hotels only-we have transportation covered-for two adults and two children for eight nights. We know pretty much what towns/areas we want and are looking at upper middle price range.

Thanks in advance.

I am a travel agent and a French DS (destination specialist). Been in france many times. Just to let you know, there is no such certification as Provence specialist. We have a local partner in France. Contact me if you wish. sophia

I should think there are any number of people on this board, including people who live in Provence, who could help you with that. Why not give us your specifications and see what we can come up with? From the information youi've provided thusfar I don't see a need for a travel agent with a Provence specialty.

Or you could go to www.slowtrav.com and look up France Consultants.

We're thinking a travel agent would be helpful since we would like a charming place with suites, family rooms, or similar.

But since you offered, we're thinking:

Gordes or St Remy de Provence 3 nights

Annecy 2 nights (know its not Provence)

Moustiers or St. Andre les Alpes 1 night

Nice 2 nights

Going late March, so pool not a consideration.

Anyone?

I live outside of St Remy and would be happy to help... you can email me at [email protected].
At the moment don't have time to reply here because we're just coming off three days without electricity due to a 140 kmph mistral wind that knocked out power lines.

I'm sure PBProvence will have some great suggestions, but while she's recovering from the power outage, I'd suggest you check out the Domaine de Valmouriane:

Traveler,
sorry, I do not come often every day in this forum. What are your dates for each city. Also, please advice what is the budget - there is a wide range of accommodations. Email me [email protected] for faster reply.

Patricia,
Thank you for your offer to help. I hope you are well after the effects of the mistral.

Based on your feedback in other threads and further research, we have decided to book Le Mas des Carassins for five nights. We have dropped the idea of Annecy because of the drive.

Now we are looking at Moustiers for one night. We're thinking maybe La Bastide de Moustiers.
