Typically I drink Rosé either from the Loire valley i.e Chinon, made from 100% Cabernet France, or Tavel from the Languedoc (Gard) which is made of Cinsault, Syrah and Grenache. I have always been a major proponent of Rosé, between May and October. Rosé is a food friendly wine which does well as an apertif, or with charcuterie or cured meats and cheese...

To those who have discovered the versatility and fine taste of Rosé...Salut!

Total Wine also has a great selection of Roses. If you have a location near you, they have lots. Now if more restaurants would put roses on the menu....

Kerouac, thank you for being brave enough to say you don't like Sauternes....I have tried and I just can't take it. I feel vindicated.

Oh and surfer girl, I love a NZ Marlborough Sauv Blanc...especially when it is warm!
