Provence Restaurant Recommendations
 

I'm looking for dinner restaurant recommendations for my upcoming trip to Provence in late June, early July. Specifically, I'm not looking for Michelin star/ fancy restaurants and food. Looking for something relaxed where we can hopefully dine al fresco. We're not too picky--- we love all Mediterranean food.

Our bases are in Aix, Mazan and Menton. We will have a car so we can drive anywhere. We do a lot of photography so I can easily see us in towns along the coast and over in the Valensole area. We've been to the area many times so we've very familiar with the area.

2 restaurants I have booked are Jardin du Quai and Le Fournil.

I haven't found a lot of updated info on restaurants so I felt it was worth asking.

ILUVPARIS (and PROVENCE).

Chez Serge in Carpentras. Ask your Mazan accommodation if Domaine de la Camarette near Pernes-les-Fontaines is taking dinner reservations again — they scaled back a lot during the pandemic. But their prix fixe menu served in the courtyard is excellent.

le Poivre d’Âne in Aix.

viamichelin.fr has a category of restaurant just for you: Bib Gourmand. Not expensive but reliably good food.
