Provence on Easter Sunday
 

Hi, I will have five days in the area between Aix en Provence and Avignon before returning to Nice to fly home. I was hoping to hit the Sunday market in Isle sur la Sorge, but I don't know if it will take place on Easter Sunday. Does anyone know? Are there any special concerts or pagents in this area during Easter week?

It's open

Several years ago some friends were going to be there on Easter Sunday and wondered if the market would be open. My wive called the l'Isle sur la Sorgue tourist office and asked them. They kinda chuckled and said "of course it will be open". Friends went there & enjoyed the market.

Thanks for the info. It would be the perfect ending to my Easter week stay.Somehow, I pictured everyone in a church Sunday morning...or at a family gathering. Happy to hear the tradition will go on as usual.

I will be there Easter Sunday also. As a matter of fact, there is a major regional antique market in Isle-s-l-Soruge on Easter, from April 15-17.
