Provence itinerary

We are traveling to Provence the end of May..for 9 days. Would anyone be willing to share their itinerary? We'd like to stay in one or two locations and do day trips. Anyone have a copy of Stu Dudley's itinerary? He must be traveling..thanks for any help

I'm here - spent most of the day playing in San Francisco. E-mail me at [email protected] if you want a copy.

You can click my name at the top of this page (luvparee)and will find my trip report (including itin) of our 8 nights in Provence: "Provence & Paris Trip Report ..." However, it does NOT contain the Paris part. I did that on a separate post.

I am SOOOO jealous!

Enjoy!

hi Irene - We will be there at the same time. I don't have a specific itinerary set except for a couple of days. This is what my husband and I are doing:

May 26- arrive from Paris to Avignon TGV, rent car

May 26-29 (three nights) staying at Les Carmes B & B in Le Thor. Sunday will go to the market in Isle sur la Sorgue.

May 29-31 (two nights) staying at Riboto de Taven in Les Baux for two nights (some have chastized me for switching B & B's to stay in towns that are only a few minutes away from eachother, but I want to try out a couple of different places while I'm in Provence) Weds. will go to the market in St. Remy.

May 31-June 3 (three nights) Move onto Nice, drop off rental car, stay at Palais de la Mediterranee. On Thursday May 31 on the way to Nice, will probably spend the day in Aix-en-Provence.

June 3rd fly from Nice airport to Chicago!!

If you were to base yourself in the Luberon you could be very centrally placed to visit the whole of western Provence quite easily. If you need further help mail me.

Jenblase...

I wouldn't worry about switching B&Bs - the towns you mention aren't "within minutes of each other " at all. I think you'll really enjoy the Riboto. Christine and Philippe Thème are wonderful hosts.
