In February we start with the Mimosa and Carneval and the batailles des fleurs, May everything is green and can be rainy...June is a beautiful month, warm, long days, July is the month of the Lavender..A must see is Bormes Les Mimosas (Var) voted the most flowered village in Europe...

Anyone know about March in Provence and/or Languedeoc/Roussillon?

isabel - we spent the first week of March 2003 in Provence/Languedoc. The almond trees were in full bloom and there was green everywhere (unlike the US in March). It was pretty quiet tourist-wise.
