Provence in the Fall

Generally speaking, what's the weather like in Provence in mid-October?

kevin_widrow Apr 26th, 2004 03:00 PM

Generally speaking, pretty pleasant. 20 degrees, give or take and maybe a bit of rain, but not much to worry about. The best part is you'll avoid the mob scenes of summer. A nice time to visit...

I had mostly warm and sunny weather last October, with a day or two that were slightly cool and drizzly.

Has a "Travel Planner" where you can type in your city and month and get the following information for each day: Sunrise, Sunset, Avg. High, Avg. Low, Mean Temp., Record High, Record Low.

Isn't Fall "truffle season"? mmmmmmmmmm.

Very nice indeed, sunny but not hot, occasional rain .

Also cross your fingers that the mighty Mistral is not blowing..

Fall (mid-Oct/beg-Nov) was beautiful, mild days in low-to-mid-60s, though nights could get downright cold. A few days we had light showers, but never an all day thing and certainly not enough to inhibit our day-trips anywhere. The best part is that the crowds are gone.
