Wow, bloody bandages in the bathroom at the Chateau de la Chevre d'Or for $400/night??!! I would've thought that, for that price, you'd would've gotten bloody bandages in more places than just the bathroom. Sounds like the accountants at the Chevre d'Or must've convinced management to start cutting corners on the medical waste. Damn bean-counters! :~)

Sonia,

Tahnk you...my point exactly. Nothing is going to satisfy her. And it has nothing to do with $$$

Wow

Wow...you've always made your point in a previous post. Any particular reason why you feel the need to keep repeating it?

Sonia, I also didn't have the best experience at Boyer. Granted it's a lovely chateau but I found the staff to be snobby and unhelpful. I found it so interesting that they were particularly helpful to this French couple driving a Mercedes S car. Interesting....

Our room was fine, nothing that out of the ordinary. My husband and I asked the concierge for their assistance in setting up a few champagne tours and I particularly remember the girl giving my husband a big sigh and blatently showing her annoyance with our request. We also stayed there on a Monday and their restaurant was closed so we asked for restaurant suggestions. I think we were told something to the effect that there were a few places in town that were open but she never did get specific with any names. I think we ended up finding one in our guidebook.

You know I thought a concierge desk was there to assist guests but apparently not? Maybe it's only for wealthy guests?
