The hairpin turns are on the Grand Corniche (the top one). The Moyenne (middle) and Base (lower) corniche are easy drives, but it's the Moyenne that get you right to Eze. Arriving after the tour buses have left and most tourists are having their early dinners... it should be easy to find parking in the lot. Then leisurely walk up the ramp to the town. There's a church up there and lots of little shops. You won't notice how high you are till you get to the Chevre d'or (signs post the way).
Note: Both the Chevre d'or and Chateau Eza (a similar type hotel/restaurant) have their entrances kind of adjacent to one another. Both have terraces... it's the one on the "left" that is the Chevre d'or. Don't believe the latter has a pool... someone correct me, if I'm in error.
