Proof of Paris's fickle weather
I just idly checked the five-day forecast at
http://www.luxurytravel.com/cityguid.../weather.shtml
The high temperature for today and the next 5 days ranges from 68F to 86F.
Which is why in any season I don't go to Paris without at least one sweater, and an umbrella!

Fellow Fodorites - bonjour from Paris. The (almost) live weathercast: today is GORGROUS weather here for the first time all week. Previously this week it was merely wonderful with an ocassional shower. My niece, here for the first time, sagely observed that a rainy day in Paris is probably better than a nice day anywhere else.

Well, my dear, people who don't live in Europe, take note:
The northern half of Europe suffers from "fickle weather", don't expect it to be sunny the next day just because it was sunny yesterday! Bring the umbrella.
