Procida
Other than Joedy has anyone else stayed on Procida. I will be there for three, maybe four days in Oct., staying at the Hotel Celeste. It looks beautiful.

I've never been there, but I'm reading a book that's set there. It's L'Isola di Arturo by Elsa Morante. I'm reading it in Italian for an Italian class that I'm taking in an evening adult school, but I think it's available in translation, too. Maybe you'd like to read it.

Barb, Procida is the third island of the Bay of Naples, not so well known and famous as Capri and Ischia, but very charming.
My compliments: you choose the best period and the best hotel.Hotel Celeste is managed by the owners,it is near at the sea and has a very pretty garden.
You can rent a boat to visit the small island of Vivara, I suggest it very much.
Have a nice trip.
We are going to spend a couple of nights at Procida the first week of May. I saw the Tirreno Residence Hotel on a Procida website. The pictures looked very attractive. Do you know anything about it? We are also considering the Hotel Celeste.

Sally, I suggest you Hotel Celeste.
Have a nice trip.

Question for anyone who has made reservations at the Hotel Celeste - did they request a 30% deposit? Is it possible to get back in the event of cancellation?
