Heather - sorry for the confusion. I missed the "don't" in your thread and read it as "just put it through regular baggage"<BR><BR>Film up to 800 or 1000 will be just fine with or without a lead bag. In fact I prefer to not use my lead bag because it ends up taking longer if I am lucky enough to get hand screening. I take between 20 and 50 rolls of film on ever trip at speeds from 100 to 1000, color and Black and white. I have never had a roll ruined. <BR><BR>If a trip has several legs involving 6 or more airports then I buy some film as I go alnog and have it processed enroute. But most of the time I take it all w/ me and process it when I get home.

Thanks Janis :)<BR>I am going with the film rolls still in a sealed box. We'll see what they want to do. Once I get to London and Paris I will attempt to get my film developed there. I know I asked this before but if someone can recommend a fairly prices and reliable photo lab in london and paris please let me know<BR>Thanks!

Heather, I would NOT take the film in the sealed boxes. They could make you open up the boxes, then open up each canister at security!

Heather - it is best to listen to Howard. Definitely remove all the outer packaging. That is something everyone agrees with including the FAA and Kodak. Whether you also take the rolls out of their plastic canisters is up to you - I sometimes do and sometimes don't but always take them out of the boxes. Besides - it is amazing how much extra space is needed for those little boxes.
