Problems with Bahn website for train tickets?

I am trying to purchase tickets for an overnight train (for this June) from Amsterdam to Prague on the Bahn website. I've gone through the procedure several times and believe I am making correct choices, but keep getting an error message that says "Dear Customer, An error occurred during the booking process for the night train. Please try again later. The error has been recorded. We apologise for any inconvenience." I have tried a few times today, with a few hours in between tries. Has anyone else had difficulty with this site?

You can only buy tickets for train travel within Germany, or starting in Germany, on the bahn.de website. Amsterdam is not in Germany.

You can check train times and hours, but for prices or to purchase tickets on other national train services, you need to purchase tickets at those sites, not DB Bahn. DB Bahn is great for planning your trip and seeing what trains and times are available, but you still have to purchase tix at Czech railways: http://www.cd.cz/en/

The bahn website does allow purchases of tickets for the nightline service between Amsterdam and Prague.

You don't say at what stage the error occurs - try another browser?? or try just keep trying. No reason for the site not to work.

The site asks for and accepts all of my information, and Amsterdam to Prague is clearly a choice, so I think the purchase is available on the site. The error occurs after the very last step, after I've accepted all conditions and selected "purchase." I get a screen saying my booking is being processed, and then the error message.

The advice to try a new browser is great--I'll try that.
And I can also try that Czech railways site, so thanks for the information!

Tried another browser, same error message. But kudos to the DBBahn people! There is a customer service email address on the site (hard to find, or I would have gone there first), and I received a reply within 24 hours. This particular night train is temporarily not available for booking as new timetables are issued, but I can book on the website in a few days.

PDersch, thanks for your update. Who woulda' thought the problem was related to a new timetable? Isn't it nice to know that sometimes it's not "operator error"? Great to know DB Bahn responds so quickly.
