Problems with AirportShuttleParis taxi service

I just wanted to offer a warning about a taxi service in Paris called Airport Shuttle Associates (http://www.airportshuttleparis.com). We had a terrible experience; the driver was almost 2 1/2 hours late when we arrived (though he was supposed to meet us at the gate), an hour early another time (and threatened to leave even though we pre-paid), and didn't show up at all the next time (we left Paris and returned within a week), so we cancelled the last shuttle. I have written to them several times asking for a refund of half our money for the no-show/cancelled shuttles and received no response.

Next time we're going to try taking a taxi to the nearest Metro station and getting to our hotel from there.

Why not take the RER train to Paris Gare Nord, Les Halles or St. Michel and the metro from there. Total cost 8.10 euros. Your RER ticket is valid on the metro portion of your trip also.

A taxi to a metro station?? Why not to the hotel??

RonZ is right, one you are in Paris (where you can take a metro) the cost difference is minimal (maybe 4 ou 5 Euros) most of the cost is from Roissy to Paris.
And if you take the metro, you need a ticket each (minimum 2.20 Euros for 2 people if you buy the tickets per 10)

Financial gain (maxi) 5-2.20=2.80 Euros
Hassle : your answer

I can understand RER + metro, RER + taxi but not taxi + metro

Which service did you reserve from them..the shuttle or the private car?
