Problems securing visa to Russia
I really need some advice on securing a Russian visa. I have filled out and sent all documents required including my passport and a postal money order for $160 for a visa, ( as per Russian Consulate instructions), to Houston. I have received an email from Invisa Logistics Services charging me $263 for one visa. I feel I am being overcharged, since Invisa's site says they charge $160 plus $33 to ship visa back to me, although I included a postage paid envelope for return of (hopefully) a visa plus my passport. I am totally confused by whole process...help anyone??

Sounds like you need to ask Invisa where the extra money came from.

I received my visa through Invisa
...I cannot remember the cost, but they said the rate was going up. It was in April. Good luck, other agencies were more expensive. |
I think you read their website wrong, the chart clearly says the total fee by mail is $263, I just looked at it--it is a $103 fee for the processing and mailing on top of the $160 visa fee. The total is shown as $263.
There is no option for you to send your own prepaid envelope. I don't know how you could have missed it, the chart is very clear. better get used to it if you want to go to Russia. |
