private transport fron Split to Dubrovnik

Hello. Im going to Croatia this July. Does anyone have a suggestion of someone who can drive us from Split to Dubrovnik in a private vehicle. I know that there is a bus, but i would prefer not to have to take the bus. Any ideas? Could rent a car, but dont want the car in Dubrovnik. Thanks in advance for your help.

I've done it between Split and Zadar - there was a bus every 1/2 hour. You can be sure of a similiar sched between Split and Dubrovnik. It will probably only cost about 50 kn(?) one way, considerably less than a hiring a driver - the buses are air conditioned and comfortable.

richard - I just checked my notes - the bus from Split to Zadar cost 72 kn (a little less than $11). I remember looking into getting a driver to Zadar - I know i was going to be jet lagged, and the idea of riding a bus didn't appeal to me - that is until I found out how much, something like $100 US.

Go to www.visit-croatia.co.uk there was a guy called Graham Amis from Bosmere Travel who could give you info on a car , the site also has a good message board.
