Private transfer from LHR to London
 

Looking for a private driver to take us from the airport to the St Johns Wood section of London.

Have used Hummingbird in the past and they are reasonable and reliable like the others. Perhaps slightly more "reasonable."

I have had good luck with Hotelbybus from Heathrow into central London. Prices start at £22.50 per person from Heathrow. Since I have traveled solo during the past several years, I find this quite reasonable.

When you get off the plane, you go to their office in the Arrivals Hall and are on your way in about 15-20 minutes. This is a shared service so there are one or two other parties riding with you.

On my last trip I departed the hotel near Trafalgar Square about noon. The driver arrived early in a smart SUV. I was the only passenger - you never know.

Those shared rides are usually fine unless you are in some great big hurry to find out your room isn't ready.

At £22.50 per person it isn't much cheaper than a car service which will be direct and for you only

We just used Blackberry Cars both to and from Heathrow. Both times they were early and we were very pleased.
