private tour guide in budapest
 

Can anyone recommend a private tour guide in budapest. We will only be there 1 1/2 days and feel this might be the best way to take the most advantage of the city.

Hi: Friends and I have had the pleasure of a private guide, Bela Lukas, for two different trips to Budapest. The first trip in Fall 2004 we went to the Danube Bend cities with Bela and had a great dinner in a restaurant we would never have found. An earlier post in this thread mentioned Budapest tourguide Gabriella Torok. She has been a sightseeing guide for me on three visits to Budapest, and I have been very pleased. I take about 12 to 15 graduate students to Budapest annually with 12. Gabriella has been kind, helpful, very informative, and willing to customize sightseeing to fit our interests.
