Private guide in Istanbul?

I posted a similar question a week or so ago, but no response. I am hoping to find a scholarly type who gives private walking tours in Istanbul, ideally with a focus on the architecture. Any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks.

Murat,

I'd also be interested in an academic- type guide who could focus on modern history and architecture during late July?

Sinan--Thanks so much for the recommendation. I will try Pinar.

Murat--I'll be in Istanbul in May. If you have another name--if Pinar ends up not being available--that would be great.

Thank you! Anne.
