Private Guide in Istanbul

Anyone have suggestions for a private tour guide for a day in Istanbul. We are 2 single, active 40 year old women -- both seasoned international travelers -- but wouldn't mind someone showing us the ropes in the Grand Bazaar, etc.

Frankly, you will be just fine without a guide. Istanbul is pretty easy.

Thanks, Kathie!

cmlyons, I agree with Kathie. No need for a private guide in Istanbul. Get lost in this city.

Agree -- no need for a guide. For bargaining, know what you are willing to pay before you make an offer. Be prepared to walk away. Understand that there is nothing personal about bargaining.

We hired a guide and driver for one of our five days there. We used www.efenditravel.com and were very pleased.

I absolutely love taking private tours in a new, or revisited city.

I had a fabulous tour guide in Istanbul. My favorite guide of the trip!

Her name is Senem Pastoressa. Her emails is [email protected]

I apologize for the delayed post. I emailed Senem directly to confirm that she would not mind a general post of her contact information.

If you decide to pursue Senem, you will not be disappointed.
