Private Guide for Pisa/Florence

Does anyone know a private guide when we port in Pisa to take us to tour Florence?

It's easy to do on your own if you want. You will likely be docking in Livorno and you can take the train from there to Florence for about 9E 1st cl and 6E 2nd cl one way. Travel time is about 1 1/2 hours and trains leave every hour. Get off at Firenze SMN station and it is a few short blocks to the historic area. This is a very compact area and you can walk from end to the other in about 25 minutes.

I would highly recommend Megan McCaffrey with Bella Vita Italia (www.bellavitaitalia.com). We did a private tour with her in Cinque Terre and a cooking lesson. Her specialties are Tuscany/Florence and the Ligurian Coast.

Yes, I can strongly recommend Giovanni Sirabella www.sunflower-tours.com - he used to be a ship's puser and he specialises in shore excursions from Pisa and Livorno.
