Private Guide for Anhambra in Granada

We have purchased tickets for a visit to the Alhambra in early October. We have a 2 p.m. entry time to the Nasrid Palace. We didn't book a guided tour and we are wondering if anyone has a line of a private guide for the Alhambra who is deep into history and could give us a good understanding of the Alhambra. We understand that you can purchase an Audio guide which would be fine but perhaps a knowledgeable guide could offer some more in depth insight. Please make a recommendation and provide a contact email.

You can contact Patricia Ortiz de Landazuri through Linkedin (http://www.linkedin.com/in/patricia-...azuri-63404090). She's an official guide (Guia Turismo Granada).

Thanks Robert. I'm not on Linkedin or Facebook. Would you have an email address for her?

I didn't think a guide necessary, but then I read a LOT in advance.

Are you not planning to visit the Nasrid Palace in the evening? It can be an absolutely magical experience.

I was there a few years ago and they give you some earphones which give you a lot of information. Don't know if hiring someone can be helpful

I thought the audioguide excellent, but read recently that it was temporarily unavailable -- I don't know if that situation has changed.
