Private drivers - Amalfi Coast
 

Anyone had experiences, good or bad, with hiring private drivers for the Amalfi Coast? My sister and I are going next week and neither of us want to drive.

Chris, yes, I hired a private driver for our family last June and we loved seeing the Amalfi coast this way! It was so relaxing, we got to enjoy the scenery while our driver kept his eyes on the road.

Our driver was also a good guide, stopping and telling us interesting stories about what we were seeing. I also asked him to recommend a good family-run restaurant and he took us to a great one on the tiny beach of Praiano with very fresh seafood. The best calamari we ever had and good fish too. Good prices.

Anyway our driver was Giovanni with benvenuto limos, a family business. www.benvenutolimos.com Givanni was very professional, polite, on-time, a careful and skilled driver, and he's cute too by the way! He was very polite towards my 2 young adult daughters. He is fluent in English and Italian.
