Private Chef in Val d'Orcia?

Hallo! We are staying in Val d'Orcia area, near Pienza for one week in July. We are looking for a chef to come to the villa and cook for us for one or two night. Anyone have any suggestions??? Thanks

I have no idea, although I loved that area. BUT: If I were asking the same question, I think I would phone a few restaurants in Pienza and near-ish to the villa, and ask for recommendations. If you are looking for a restaurant, we loved Latte di Luna years ago and I bet it's still excellent.

For anyone spending time in this area, I would recommend reading WAR IN THE VALLE D'ORCIA by iris oligo. its a classic.

Who/what are you renting the villa from? I'd ask them.

Of course, Jean has the best, and most direct, idea!

Our rental agent in Chianti arranged a chef to come to our villa to prepare an outstanding meal for our family group.

Wot Eks said about that book. It is essential reading. How they still haven't made a movie from it is beyond me.
Great ideas above regarding restaurants, agents and landlords.
I am done. The meals

Thank you!

Dear all, thank you so much!

We are renting via Booking not through an agent but I'll ask the owner about a local Chef!
