Printing tickets on Deutsche Bahn

I received a confirmation along with the information that my ticket should be printed in the A4 format. I have no idea what the A4 format is or how to access it.

Getting this ticket has been very frustrating. I've bought tickets before on Deutsce Bahn, and as soon as I paid for them, they were automatically printed and sent to me.

Can anyone help me?

A4 is just a standard size of paper in Europe, about the same as USA 8.5 x 11 but not quite. If you print on 8.5 x 11 here so long as all text is included on the page when you print you should be fine.

Laurie_ann has given the correct answer in my own experience.

Boy, do I feel dim. The A4 paper response was just fine, but I still didn't understand how to print the ticket.

Then...I noticed the little icon in the upper left corner above my booking confirmation. Not too observant.

I ordered some new computer glasses, but I hadn't picked them up yet. I decided I'd better do that right now. Of course, that won't help the dimness, but at least I'll be able to see my screen.

It is a little longer than standard US paper -- so the margins/header/footer may not fit. Just be sure to do a print preview . . . Sometimes a one page document slops over just a little on to a 2nd page.

But on tickets that is usually just the boilerplate term/conditions/stuff.

Right after I made the last post, I went out and picked up my new computer glasses. I'm blaming poor eyesight for being so dumb.

You're actually allowed not to know everything on this thread. I know that can seem unusual around here sometimes.
