Printing THAYLS train tickets
I really want to print out my tickets from the Thalys.com website. There is a test page to determine if you are able to do this. Each time I run the test I get the message below, and the required word SPECIMEN doesn't appear on the ticket. Which they say is necessary.
I'm afraid to print my ticket and have it rejected when I board the train. l. Any thoughts on my computer problem or what I might be doing wrong? I have downloaded Adobereader 9. 2. Can I go about getting this ticket another way. Will they mail to the United States? Message: Do you want to save this file? ukbillet_test_thalys.pdf I have saved it and the ticket opens up, but the word SPECIMEN doesn't appear. Thalys says if SPECIMEN is NOT on your sample ticket you can't do it. HELP!!! |
My guess is that SNCF uses some arcane Adobe PDF feature to watermark the document - so if yours doesn't print, I wouldn't risk it.

If you can't print the ticket, have them mail it to your hotel. I've done exactly this several times without a hitch. Alert the hotel so they know what you're up to.
|
I would email thalys and tell them. I did one time and they said don't worry you can still get your ticket at the station(Paris). Or even on the train location.
|
You can try printing the tickets. They should appear with type running across the background of the ticket - I think the type includes your name and is slanted across the page.
|
If you try printing the tickets and it doesn't work, it will take you hours to get it straightened out. I wouldn't chance it.

I'm afraid to chance it, so printing is out, but since I will be staying in an apartment I could have them delivered to the manager.
Thanks, I'm not thinking straight, that would be a good idea. |
