Mark you just put a huge grin on my face! I'm in Philadelphia on family business in a PL room at Loews and have always wondered what amazing deals I could get in Europe. My email is real, please, please let me know how you fare overseas. I'm saving my pennies as I type!

Wendy

I just got a Westin ($170) for $40 on PL. When I checked in I was asked if I was a member and gave my AA advantage number. You never know. In South Bch, Miami recently the clerk told us she could only tell we booked online and could not tell it was thru PL or what we paid.

Is there a site that gives the "endings" for other countries. In other words, I didn't know that putting an HK or UK would give different countries.

I've used Priceline and Hotwire numerous times and would love to find the site for other countries.

Have used priceline twice in Valley Forge Pa and Orlando Florida. Got great deals and both times was able to get a room with 2 beds. I was treated nicely in bith cases and got a great deal. Would never have done it without: www.biddingfortravel.com

I have used Priceline for hotels in the US and have gotten wonderful deals. The rooms were always of the highest quality. I will be travelling to Europe in a week and will be staying for one night at the Sofitel St James in London. We wanted to stay in the Mayfair area so I bid on a five star hotel in that area. Priceline did not want to accept my bid of $200-stating that it was too LOW. It was then accepted. I will let you know how they treated us on our return.

I got the Thistle Bloomsbury (4*) for $65/night in early March and the Victoria Park Plaza (4*) for $95/night in mid March.

Priceline great!
