Praia da Rocha : April
 

My husband and I are thinking of going to the hotel Oriental in Praia da Rocha next year around 15th April. We have never been to Portugal before and would appreciate some info re weather, this hotel and surrounding area. Is this a good place to go?<BR>We are looking for a relaxing holiday with gentle walks, sitting by the pool, and admiring the scenery.<BR>Many thanks<BR>CM

I have never stayed in Praia da Rocha, but I have driven through it. I believe it very much depends on where your hotel is situated. The center of Praia da Rocha is not so atractive. High rise hotels side by side. Perhaps you could think Albufeira instead?<BR><BR>There is a song called April in Portugal... Should be nice, althoug not swimmable.
