Prague-Vienna-Salzburg -How many days?

Hi,
I'm thinking of my 2005 travel plans and think I'll be going to Austria and Czech Republic. How many days for each do you recommend to see the major sites in Vienna, Salzburg, and Prague?
Thanks!!

I have done that loop and would suggest a minimum of 10 days split 3-3-4 with the 4 in Prague.

2 for Salzburg, as many as you can for wonderful Vienna ( but at least 4 days), 2 or 3 for Prague.

I suggest: at least 5 days and nights in Vienna, 2 days max. in Salzburg, at least 4 days and nights in Prague. We were there last June. You'll love it.

I can't speak to Salzburg, but will suggest 3-4 in Vienna, and at least 4 in Prague

Never been to Prague so it is on my list.

Have been to Vienna and Salzburg three or four times. Vienna has a lot to see, but has never been one of my favorite spots. This goes against what many will tell you on this post. I was there in 1971, again in the 90s and again in 2000 off a cruise.

I prefer the Salzburg/Berghtesgaden area to Vienna. I would spend the most time in Prague (due to what I have read) the second most in Salzburg, including the short trip to see Berchtesgaden, Koingsee the great lake, Kielstein and then Vienna.

This preference probably comes from the fact that we enjoy the smaller towns more than the large ones. You may be different.

No matter what....all three will be great to visit.....Prague is on my list.
