Prague, Vienna & Budapest
 

I'm asking lots of questions here this evening. So many choices. So little time. Can someone tell me the distance in train hours from Prague to Vienna and Vienna to Budapest? Is one way shorter then another? My geographt is awful! Thanks in advance.

Just Google "train schedule Prague-Vienna" and "Vienna-Budapest" and you will find the time it takes between the two cities. The first connection is as short as 4hr.40min.

Train times are available at bahn.de. Same train service from Budapest to Vienna is shorter than Vienna to Prague but I don't recall the exact times.

Depends on the type of train, from Vienna to Budapest takes as short as 2 hours 50 minutes.

Thank you. I found the rail schedules and as you said, Vienna to Budapest is not long at all!
