Sitges, Spain in late April - Warm enough for the beach??

We will be ending a two week cruise in Barcelona and hope to spend 3 or 4 relaxing days in Spain before heading home.
It looks like Sitges is easy to get to from the city. Is it usually warm enough to spend time on the beach at the end of April?
Also, any recommendations on what not to miss would be appreciated.

That is usually warm enough for the beach in southern Spain - not sure about so far north but would doubt it. And it also depends on how warm you want the water to be (I'm used to the north Atlantic and hate warm water, but know some people love it.)

Have you looked at the average air and water temps?

We were in Barcelona at the end of April two years ago...there were people on the beach-it was warm enough - but only few in the water.
A couple of days later , it was May already, it started to rain and it turned cold.
Hard to know.
I went to Sitges from Barcelona ( last year) in October....much nicer beaches than in Barcelona,
a lot of restaurants and bars...it was an easy day trip.

Probably not as far as water temp goes but sitting on the beach and soaking up the sun will be likely just fine. There will be enough in the area to keep you busy post cruise in BCN unless you really want the beach scene. A side trip to Monsarret might be if interest..Can do on public transport as well as getting to Sitges.

When the sun shines, it's pleasant enough to lie on the beach but with your clothes on (as locals do). It's too cold to swim in the sea, though you always find a few brave souls! It really doesn't get warm enough for swimming till late May or June.
